We collect only information that is necessary for these stated purposes (APP 3). You are not obliged to provide personal information, but without certain mandatory fields, we may be unable to provide our services.

How Your Information Is Used

Your personal information is used for the following purposes:

  • Account management: operating your account, processing deposits and withdrawals, responding to support requests

  • Regulatory compliance: meeting AML, KYC and Curaçao licence obligations

  • Responsible gambling: monitoring account activity to identify at-risk behaviour and applying account restrictions where warranted

  • Marketing: sending promotional offers, newsletters and bonus communications — only where you have provided consent or have not opted out (see below)

  • Analytics and product improvement: aggregated, anonymised usage data to improve the platform

We do not use your personal information for any purpose that is incompatible with these stated purposes (APP 6).

Marketing Communications

If you have opted in to marketing communications during registration or via your account settings, we may contact you by email or SMS with promotional offers, tournaments and relevant news. You can withdraw this consent at any time by:

  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email

  • Updating your communication preferences in Account Settings → Notifications

  • Contacting our support team at [email protected]

Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect service-related communications (account alerts, withdrawal confirmations, KYC requests).

Sharing Your Information with Third Parties

We share your personal information only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards:

  • Payment processors: to facilitate deposits and withdrawals

  • KYC verification providers: to validate identity documents against official databases

  • Fraud and AML screening services: to meet regulatory obligations

  • Analytics platforms: in anonymised or aggregated form only

  • Regulatory authorities: if required by law or a valid court order

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cross-Border Data Transfers and APP 8

Dama N.V. is incorporated in the Republic of Seychelles. When your personal information is transferred to Dama N.V. systems or shared with third-party processors located outside Australia, the transfer is governed by APP 8 of the Privacy Act 1988.

Before transferring data internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient is subject to a law or binding scheme that provides substantially similar protections to the APPs, or we obtain your consent to the transfer. If you have questions about specific cross-border arrangements, contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

Data Security: Storage and Breach Response

We maintain technical and organisational security measures appropriate to the risk of unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure of personal information. These include:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit

  • Encryption at rest for sensitive personal and financial data

  • Role-based access controls limiting staff access to information needed for their function

  • Regular security assessments

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant regulatory authority in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988.

Your Rights: Access, Correction and Complaints

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the following rights:

  • APP 13 — Correction: Request correction of inaccurate, out-of-date or incomplete information.
